Offense

Hello all,

I decided to look back at my life and how I have made decisions in my life. I realized that many of the decision I have made have been defensive or made out of fear. For example my former career, although I moved up swiftly through the ranks was chosen initially because I knew I could do it and I needed money fast. Often, my short term decisions were made out of fear and defensively, ultimately turning into decisions I was unhappy about long term.

Normally at this time I am solely focused on an external goal like career advancement, a raise, or diet etc, however this year my main focus is on an internal goal. I want to go on the offense this year and make decisions out of love. Love is the only reason I had the courage to chase my dreams. Love is the reason why I have the courage to put myself out their even if I may be ridiculed. And Love will be the reason why I will look back at my life and be satisfied. So I guess my goal is to Love the hell out of this year.

Hello All, I keep moving forward even though sometimes the odds are stacked against me. I realize that I create my odds. I must have faith and believe when even I can't see a way out. I have been preparing for a year and a half and I choose to believe that one of the seeds that I have planted will provide me fruit. Where to Start?

Hello All, I have learned the importance of long-term and short-term planning. When you are chasing your dreams or lofty goals, you end up becoming very busy. It sounds great but if you are not careful you will find yourself doing a meaningless task or letting the important stuff slip through the cracks. Planning for the long and short term can help stay on task and prioritize your workload. Every day I have to look at my long-term plan and short-term plan to make sure I'm getting the most bang for my buck. Today I ran into a problem completing a task because it requires other tasks to be completed first, unfortunately, those task cannot be completed until a later date. This is frustrating because it left me at a standstill and I had to figure out what else to do. When you are trying to start your own company with limited resources, you have to be resourceful and find something else to do that will contribute toward your goal. Vision

Hello all, We all are familiar with vision, in the since of seeing something that will happen in the future. I'm talking about the vision we see when we think about the possibilities in the future. While we at Twinlightenment are creating our vision, we tend to create more ripples, possibilities, or visions for our future. This is probably the second most exciting part of our journey. The most exciting part of the journey is having an idea and bringing something from your mind into physical existence in this world. If you are able to successfully do that, than you can do anything.
